Our Club came in first for the Rotary Rice Rally!!

Congratulations go out again to Carol & Briggs Christie and all of the other members of our Club who participated in a fun and terrific Rotary community service event - - - the Rotary Rice Rally.  Our Club collected more rice than any other Club in Hawaii !

A total of 3,198 pounds of rice and $256 cash were collected by the members of our Rotary Club of Windward Oahu Sunrise (Kailua) outside the Foodland Super Market in Kailua on Saturday, January 12, 2013 as donations from local shoppers who gave bags of rice in support of the Hawaii Foodbank.
