C&C of Honolulu’s Office of Climate Change
Gather thoughts and comments about where the city should focus regarding resiliency issues

Hi David, My name is Uyen Vong with the City and County of Honolulu’s Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency. As you may know, the office was created by city charter in 2016 when voters overwhelming approved its creation. We are currently in the sixth month since the executive director & chief resilience officer was hired, and now we are reaching out to community stakeholders to gather input on their thoughts on island resiliency. I am reaching out to you and your rotary club to ask for some time on the agenda to present about our office and also gather thoughts and comments about where the city should focus regarding resiliency issues. Please let me know what the next available Tuesday is for our agency to present to your organization. Sincerely, Uyen Uyen T.
