We understand it's disappointing that the Rotary International Convention was unable to go forward as planned in Honolulu on Saturday, June 6. Let's connect for good by instead meeting at Kalama Beach Park on that day from 8:00 am-10:00 am and gathering waste and micro-plastics off our beautiful beaches. This project is family-friendly, open to all, and a great way to get some fresh air and exercise! Coffee will be provided, so gather early for the best parking and a cup of motivation.
Rotarian Luke suggested bringing kitchen strainers to sift out larger microplastic pieces. Mahalo Rotarians Lauren and Alenka for this project idea! See you there and don't forget to wear your Rotary shirts and hats!
