Clubs Partner to Bring Hope to Families

25 April 2015 was Rotarians of Work day for Rotary Clubs around the world. The Windward Oahu Sunrise Rotary Club partnered with other clubs on Oahu to bring hope to borderline homeless families.
The Rotary Clubs of Hawaii Kai, Diamond Head, Windward Oahu, and Windward Oahu Sunrise Rotary Club teamed up to provide garden boxes and plants to help borderline homeless individuals stay off the streets in the area of Wilhemina Rise. Having the opportunity to grow their own food enables these individuals and families to become more independent and self-sufficient and teaches them another skill.
