State of Hawaii's HiRUC Roads Project

Ging Ging is a representative of Hastings & Pleadwell, and will be sharing information out about HiRUC, the State Department of Transportation (HDOT) research into road usage charges. This project is an exploration of charging drivers by the mile, versus a tax by the gallon at the pump to better maintain Hawaii’s roads.

The HiRUC Project is in an education and feedback phase, and will inform and answer questions about the project. For more information on the project, here is a recent story that ran in the Civil Beat:  https://www.civilbeat.org/2019/04/heres-why-youll-want-to-pay-for-the-miles-you-drive-not-the-gas-you-use/
