In 1958, four Quakers sailed Golden Rule, a small ketch, from Los Angeles towards the Marshall Islands Pacific Proving Ground in an attempt to stop nuclear bomb tests. Although the crew was arrested in Honolulu, the public outcry over their detention helped convince President Kennedy to sign the Limited Helen will show a 10-minute documentary film about the boat and mission with an update on the voyage! |

Robert A. Cravalho, MPA, DTM, AS“Some avoid conflict, others learn to embrace it."A son of Hawaii who brings the Aloha Spirit of the islands to you! Robert was born in Honolulu and raised in Kailua on the windward side of the island of Oahu.
Affectionately known as Bobby Cravalho to his friends, he served as a Honolulu police officer for over 30 years. As a police officer, he was assigned as a hostage negotiator and effectively managed conflicts with deadly consequences. Robert has taken his training and experience and created an entertaining presentation that provides tools that anyone can use to manage conflict in their everyday life. Robert is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and is on the faculty at the Hawaii Pacific University. He is also the managing agent of Hawaiian Island Investigations, a private firm providing investigation and security services for clients like the National Football League and the Hawaii Hotel Visitor Industry Security Association. In 2017, Robert received the coveted Accredited Speaker designation from Toastmasters International and is only one of 81 Toastmasters in the world to achieve this designation. He has demonstrated his ability to combine his expertise with the mastery of the spoken word. Robert is ready and willing to help you and your team become the best you can be. |

She has completed approximately 45 jury trials. Megan is a 2003 graduate of Santa Clara Law School. After completing law school she was certified by the State of Hawai`i as a CPA. After working as a tax accountant at KPMG in Honolulu, Megan tried many cases as a career criminal Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the City and County of Honolulu. She then worked for two midsize civil litigation firms. Come hear Megan talk about the State of Hawai`i Prosecutor's Office and learn more about our legal system. |

Ashley Wiberg, LCSW, CSAC, has been a leader and team-builder in the world of healthcare in Hawaii. She brings her unique experience and expertise as co-founder and clinical director of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Center of Hawaii. Ms. Wiberg spent five years at the Bobby Benson Center, a residential treatment program on Oahu’s North Shore, where she eventually served as clinical director. During this time, Ms. Wiberg gained expertise working with individuals with a variety of severe problems, including depression, anxiety, addiction, and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as other behavioral and emotional problems. In addition to treating adults, Ms. Wiberg has broad experience working with adolescents. |

This week we will hear from our District Governor Eric Kaler. Eric was first introduced to Rotary in 2000 upon moving to Bali, Indonesia. There he joined the Rotary Club of Bali Nusa Dua. As with most of us, Eric saw the connections and network of Rotary as a way to build trust and relationships with the prominent business people in the area. He naturally also became involved in both the community service and international service projects that the club was engaged with.
