Fawn Dene’ Liebengood

Assistant Director, 808 Cleanups.
Marine Debris Removal Program Manager

In 2014, Fawn made a career switch from Social Psychology to pursue her true passion for our marine environment. From an early age, Fawn began cutting up 6 pack rings to protect marine animals. This change happened after seeing more and more marine animals entangled in fishing line and ingesting marine debris. Fawn felt convicted to do step up,  take action, and dedicate her future to preventing, removing, and educating others about marine debris. In 2016, she earned an MBA in Nonprofit Management, Entrepreneurship Certificate, and an Outstanding Community Service Award from Chaminade University and the Hogan Entrepreneur Program. Fawn is a certified F.I.I. Level 1 Free diver, PADI Open Water Scuba Diver, and POP Pilates Instructor.
